Players ages 7 – 9 are focused on the fundamentals and mechanics of hitting, throwing and fielding - preparing them for the more competitive play in the Minor or Majors divisions. This division allows kids to pitch for the first two innings and then utilizes coach pitch for the remainder of each game. Scores are kept for each game. There is a 5 run rule per inning (except last inning).  There is no base stealing. Players are drafted onto a team for the season based on the pre-season tryouts in January.  There is a postseason double elimination playoff & Championship Game. All teams make the playoffs. Players may be “called up” during the season to play on a Minors team to fill vacancies. There are usually 1-2 practices and two games a week.
